Bellevue University has been picked as the favorite to win the 2014-15 MCAC Men's Basketball Championship according to the MCAC Preseason Coaches' Poll released Sunday (Oct. 12).

Bellevue, the MCAC Regular Season Co-Champions from a year ago, posted a 29-6 overall record in 2013-14 en route to capturing the MCAC Tournament Title and advancing to the second round of the NAIA National Tournament.  The Bruins ranked 13th in the final NAIA national rankings last season.

Waldorf College earned the No. 2 position in the preseason coaches' poll after a 16-10 (10-4 MCAC) finish last season. College of the Ozarks, which recorded a 21-10 record in 2013-14 (8-6 MCAC), was voted third by the conference coaches.

Rounding out the rankings are York College (4th), Oklahoma Wesleyan University (5th), Central Christian College (6th), Haskell Indian Nations University (7th) and Central Baptist College (8th).
