Bellevue University has been picked as the favorite to win the 2015 MCAC Softball Championship according the MCAC Preseason Coaches' Poll released Monday (Feb. 23).  

The Bruins, who are receiving votes in the NAIA's preseason national rankings, finished 2014 with a 36-17 overall record (16-4 MCAC), advancing to the opening round of the NAIA National Tournament after winning the MCAC postseason tournament.  

Central Baptist College, the 2014 MCAC Regular Season Champion, earned the No. 2 position in the preseason poll with a 35-13 overall record last season (17-3 MCAC), while Oklahoma Wesleyan University was picked third (26-29 overall, 13-7 MCAC in 2014).

Rounding out the poll are College of Saint Mary (4th), Waldorf College (5th), Central Christian College (6th), York College (7th) and Haskell Indian Nations University (8th).
