Sophomore Matt Heiman of the Park University men’s soccer team has been named MCAC Men’s Soccer Defensive Player of the Week for the week ending Oct. 21. 

Heiman, a native of Liberty, Mo., recorded a pair of shutouts last week as Park posted a pair of wins en route to clinching the MCAC Regular Season Title.  On Saturday, he grabbed five saves in a 2-0 win over Bellevue University.

The Pirates own a 10-4 overall record this season.
