Sophomore Amanda Cook of the College of Saint Mary women’s volleyball team has been named MCAC Women’s Volleyball Player of the Week for the week ending Nov. 4.
A native of Bellevue, Neb., Cook averaged 6.57 kills and 4.71 digs per game last week for the Flames. In a 3-1 win over Peru State College, she had 30 kills and 21 digs. In addition, she reached the 1,000-career dig plateau vs. Peru State.
CSM is 21-11 overall and finished MCAC play with an 11-3 record.
