Senior guard Janessa Demuth of the College of the Ozarks has been named MCAC Women’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Feb. 3.  She has now earned the honor five times this season.

Demuth (Lebanon, Mo.) averaged 17.0 points, 7.0 steals, 7.0 rebounds and 6.5 assists per game last week in leading the top-ranked Bobcats to a pair of wins over York College and the College of Saint Mary.  In a 92-62 win over CSM, she had 15 points, nine steals, seven assists and five rebounds.

The Bobcats are 22-1 overall and 6-0 in conference play this season.
