Junior Terrance Little Thunder of Haskell Indian Nations University has been named MCAC Men’s Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Feb. 17.

A native of Cherry Creek, S.D., Little Thunder averaged 23.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 2.0 steals and 1.0 blocks per game last week as the Indians defeated York College (79-72), but suffered a nine-point setback to seventh-ranked Bellevue University (59-68).  Against the Bruins, the 6-11 center scored 21 points, grabbed seven rebounds and recorded a pair of blocks and steals.  For the week, Little Thunder was 18-of-26 from the field (69.2 percent).

Haskell is 10-17 overall and 3-7 in MCAC play this season.
