BELLEVUE, NEB. – The Midlands Collegiate Athletic Conference announced the 2007-08 All-MCAC Men’s Basketball Team in conjunction with the MCAC Men’s Basketball Tournament Friday and Saturday in Bellevue, Neb.

Senior Daniel Bandy of the College of the Ozarks was named the MCAC Player of the Year after ranking second in the conference in scoring (18.1 points per game) and first in assists (3.7 assists per game).  Sophomore Steve Briggs of Oklahoma Wesleyan University earned MCAC Newcomer of the Year honors, while Sadiel Rojas of Oklahoma Wesleyan was tabbed MCAC Freshman of the Year.

Bellevue Head Coach Todd Eisner was named MCAC Coach of the Year after leading the Bruins to a No. 3 national ranking in the final NAIA Top 25, a 29-3 overall record, MCAC Regular Season and Tournament Championships and an automatic berth in the NAIA Division II Men’s Basketball National Tournament March 12-18 in Point Lookout, Mo.
