Senior Jennifer Miller of Bellevue University has been named MCAC Softball Pitcher of the Week for the week ending March 16.

Miller (Omaha, Neb.) posted a 1.83 ERA and 25 strikeouts in 23.0 innings pitched (six appearances) last week at the Sun West Tournament.  In a 10-0 win over SUNY-IT, she tossed the first perfect game in school history, striking out seven batters over 5.0 innings of work.  For the week, Miller compiled a 2-2 record, allowing just six earned runs and one walk.

The 12th-ranked Bruins are 8-5 in 2008.
