Junior Josh Hake of Park University has been named MCAC Pitcher of the Week for the week ending March 16.

Hake, a native of Tucson, Ariz., tossed a complete-game one-hitter, striking out 11, in a 7-0 win over York College on Friday.  Earlier in the week, he struck out four batters in a 2.0-inning relief appearance at Central Methodist University.  On the week, Hake did not give up an earned run and struck out 15, while allowing just three hits, two walks and two unearned runs.

The Pirates are 3-1 in MCAC action and 7-5 overall this season.
