Junior shortstop Nick Kouratou of Park University has been named MCAC Baseball Player of the Week for the week ending March 16.

A native of Tucson, Ariz., Kouratou drove in 15 runs on the week, hitting .586 (17-for-29) with three doubles and a stolen base.  In the final three games of a four-game set with York College over the weekend, he went 6-for-10 with seven RBI en route to leading the Pirates to three straight wins and first place in the MCAC standings.

Park is 7-5 overall and 3-1 in conference play this season.
