Senior Ryne Emerick of the College of the Ozarks has been named MCAC Baseball Player of the Week for the week ending April 20.

A native of Wood River, Ill., Emerick led the Bobcats to eight MCAC wins last week by hitting .708 (17-for-24) with three homers, 11 RBI and 12 runs scored.  In a four-game series with York College over the weekend, he went 11-for-13 with two homers and five RBI.

The Bobcats are 23-16 overall and 14-6 in MCAC action.
