Sophomore Nick Love of Bellevue University has been named MCAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week for the week ending April 27.

A native of Omaha, Neb., Love compiled a 1-0 record with two saves and 12 strikeouts over 9.0 scoreless innings of work last week for the Bruins.  In a 10-3 win over Briar Cliff University on Sunday, he allowed just one hit and struck out eight in 6.0 innings to earn the victory.

The 15th-ranked Bruins are 41-11 overall and finished the MCAC schedule with a 21-3 mark.
