Senior Megan Goings of Park University has been named MCAC Softball Player of the Week for the week ending April 27. 

Goings, a native of Derby, Kan., hit .727 (8-for-11) last week for the Pirates, with a home run, two doubles, three RBI and five runs scored.  In an 11-0 victory against Missouri Valley College, she was 3-for-3 with three runs scored, a homer, a double and two RBI.

Park, the 2008 MCAC Regular Season Champions, are 20-19 overall and compiled a 10-2 conference record.
