Junior guard Justina George of Haskell Indian Nations University has been named MCAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Feb. 15.

George (Ramah, N.M.) averaged 14.0 points, 6.5 rebounds, 6.0 assists and 6.0 steals per game last week as the Indians posted a pair of league wins. In a 74-63 win over Peru State College, she had 17 points, seven steals, five assists and four rebounds. Against College of Saint Mary (75-38), George tallied 11 points, nine rebounds, seven assists and five steals.

Haskell is 14-7 overall and ranks second in the MCAC with a 7-3 conference record.
