Senior infielder Mark Houck of Peru State College has been named MCAC Baseball Player of the Week for the week ending April 19.

Houck (Derby, N.Y.) hit .615 (8-for-13) last week as the Bobcats posted a 4-1 record. On the week, he scored eight runs, had three doubles, two homers, six RBI and a 1.308 slugging percentage. In a pair of road wins over Dana College, Houck went a combined 5-for-7 with two homers, two doubles, four RBI and four runs scored.

Peru State is 23-16 overall this season (8-6 MCAC).
