Senior outfielder Nicole Mercer of Peru State College has been named MCAC Softball Player of the Week for the week ending April 26.

Mercer, a native of Wichita, Kan., led the Bobcats to a 4-0 record last week by going 11-for-17 at the plate (.647) along with six runs scored, six RBI and five doubles.

Peru State is 18-22 overall (6-6 MCAC).

OTHERS NOMINATED: Emily Calder (Park University) and Kayla Hodgson (College of Saint Mary).
