Junior infielder Louie Templeton of Bellevue University has been named MCAC Baseball Player of the Week for the week ending April 26.

Templeton, a native of Avondale, Ariz., went 12-for-16 (.750) last week as the Bruins went 5-1. On the week, he had 11 runs scored, five stolen bases, four doubles, two homers and 10 RBI. Templeton also posted a 1.375 slugging percentage over the six contests.

The 15th-ranked Bruins are 35-10 this season (21-3 MCAC).
