Junior guard Kristen Dixon of Oklahoma Wesleyan University has been named MCAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 24.

Dixon, a native of Chouteau, Okla., averaged 20.0 points per game last week as the Eagles posted a 1-1 record against MCAC opponents.  In a 78-77 win over Central Christian College, she scored 27 points, including two game-winning free throws with 3.6 seconds left on the clock.  For the week, Dixon was 7-of-17 from beyond the three-point line (41.2 percent).

Oklahoma Wesleyan is 5-15 overall (1-3 MCAC).
