Junior forward Alicia Bender of Peru State College has been named MCAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Feb. 7.

Bender (Omaha, Neb.) averaged 18.0 points and 10.0 rebounds per game last week as the Bobcats recorded a pair of MCAC road victories.  In a 74-67 upset of then-19th-ranked Haskell Indian Nations University, she had 16 points and 10 rebounds.  Bender picked up her second double-double of the week with 20 points and 10 boards in an 87-67 win at Central Christian College.

Peru State is 11-14 overall and 5-2 in conference play.
