Senior infielder Jon Reed of Bellevue University has been named MCAC Baseball Player of the Week for the week ending April 25.

Reed, a native of Omaha, Neb., led the eighth-ranked Bruins to a 4-1 record last week going 12-for-19 at the plate (.632) with six runs scored, five RBI, one double and one triple.  In an 11-4 win at the University of Sioux Falls, he went 4-for-4 with three runs scored, a triple and an RBI.

Bellevue, the 2010 MCAC Regular Season Champion at 19-1, is 34-7 overall.
