Junior right-hander Chris Needham of Oklahoma Wesleyan University has been named MCAC Baseball Pitcher of the Week for the week ending May 2.

Needham, a native of Boise, Idaho, picked up two complete-game victories over MCAC-rival College of the Ozarks last week.  In a 4-0 shutout, he scattered three hits and recorded five strikeouts.  In a 6-2 win, he allowed just two earned runs on five hits while striking out two.

The Eagles are 19-32 overall (8-12 MCAC).
