Freshman infielder Kim Wees of Bellevue University has been named MCAC Softball Player of the Week for the week ending May 2.

Wees, a native of Bellevue, Neb., led the Bruins to a 4-0 record last week by going 7-for-14 at the plate with two homers and seven RBI.  In a 4-0 win at Buena Vista, she went 2-for-3 with a home run and two-RBI.

Bellevue, the 2010 MCAC Regular Season Champion, is 29-14 overall.
