POINT LOOKOUT, MO. - Bellevue University topped the MCAC Men's Soccer Preseason Coaches' Poll released Wednesday (Aug. 25).
The Bruins, who are tied for 21st in the NAIA Preseason Top 25, finished 2009 with a 14-4-1 overall record, including a perfect 3-0 MCAC mark to capture the regular season league title. Bellevue advanced to the second round of the NAIA National Tournament last season before falling to the eventual national champion, Lindsey Wilson College.
Oklahoma Wesleyan University earned the No. 2 position in the MCAC Preseason Poll. The Eagles posted a 2-1 record in conference play last season (5-11-1 overall).
Rounding out the rankings are York College (t3), Central Christian College (t3) and Southwestern Christian University (5).
