Junior center Chris Jones of Central Christian College has been named MCAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Dec. 11.

A native of Edmond, Okla., Jones averaged 22.7 points and 12.0 rebounds per game last week in leading the Tigers to a 3-0 record.  In a 90-58 win over Ozark Christian College, he had 22 points and tied a school record with 19 rebounds.

Central Christian is 9-3 this season.
