Junior forward Morgan Smith of the College of the Ozarks has been named MCAC Women's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 8.

Smith (Nixa, Mo.) averaged 20.7 points and 7.3 rebounds per game last week as the second-ranked Bobcats posted three victories.  In an 83-58 win over Lindenwood University, she had 25 points on 11-of-15 shooting from the field, to go along with eight rebounds. 
 
College of the Ozarks is 12-3 on the year.
