Sophomore guard Marcus Johnson of York College has been named MCAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 15.

Johnson, a native of Leavenworth, Kan., averaged 21.7 points, 6.7 rebounds and 4.3 assists per game last week in leading the Panthers to a 2-1 record.  In a 105-100 double-overtime win over College of the Ozarks, he had 26 points, nine rebounds and five assists.

York is 9-10 this season.
