Senior forward Brady Fairbanks of Haskell Indian Nations University has been named MCAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Jan. 22.

A native of Bena, Minn., Fairbanks averaged 27.7 points, 7.3 rebounds and 2.7 assists per game over three contests last week for the Indians.  In an 89-83 win over Central Christian College, he had 43 points and six rebounds.  Later in the week, he tallied 32 points along with nine rebounds in a 98-94 loss at Central Baptist College.

Haskell is 7-13 in 2011-12.
