Men's Basketball - Mon, Feb. 11, 2013

Senior guard Marcus Johnson of York College has been named MCAC Men's Basketball Player of the Week for the week ending Feb. 10.

A native of Leavenworth, Kan., Johnson averaged 25.0 points, 6.3 rebounds, 4.0 steals and 2.7 assists per game last week as the 16th-ranked Panthers posted a 2-1 record.  In an 86-68 win over Haskell Indian Nations University, he scored 37 points on 15-of-24 shooting from the field.  For the week, Johnson shot 66.7 percent from the floor (32-for-48).

York is 22-5 on the season.
